Open FAM → Family tab → scroll down → Delete account → type DELETE to confirm. This immediately and permanently removes your login. If you're the last adult in your family, the entire family is deleted with it — every event, list, chore, recipe, photo, and connected calendar. Any active web subscription is canceled and your stored payment method is erased; App Store subscriptions should be canceled in your Apple ID or Google Play settings (deleting the account does not stop store billing on its own).
Can't get into the app? Email support@joinfamapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We verify it's really you and complete the deletion within 30 days, with a confirmation reply when done.
Deleted: your login and profile; and if you're the last adult — all family content
(calendar events, lists, chores and allowance history, meal plans, recipes, kid profiles),
connected-calendar links and tokens, push tokens, and stored payment methods.
Kept briefly: standard server backups age out within 30 days; payment records that tax
law requires us to retain stay with our payment processors (Stripe/Apple/Google), not with us.
If other adults remain: only you are removed — the family and its shared content stay
with them.
