Terms of Service

The service

FAM (joinfamapp.com and app.joinfamapp.com) is a family organization app: shared calendar, lists, chores and allowance tracking, meal planning, recipe saving, and daily briefs. FAM is currently in early access and features may change.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create an account. Kid profiles are created and managed by parents; children do not hold accounts.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• One family workspace is intended for one household.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — no attempting to access other families' data, no illegal content, no abusing the recipe-import or other automated features, no reselling access.

Your content

Everything your family puts into FAM remains yours. You grant us only the license needed to store, process, and display it back to your family — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Reliability & disclaimers

• Travel times and "leave by" estimates are computed from third-party traffic data and are estimates — please leave sensible margins; FAM is not responsible for missed events.
• Recipe extraction is AI-assisted and may contain errors; check quantities before you shop or cook.
• Early-access software: the service is provided "as is," without warranties, and we may modify or discontinue features. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Paid plans

FAM's core is free. When paid plans launch, pricing and renewal terms will be shown clearly before any charge, and you'll be able to cancel any time with access through the end of the billing period.

Ending things

You can delete your account and your family's data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
